Well, despite the fact that I haven't had much time to blog, I have been getting a little knitting done! This is the first 70 rows of "Alix's Lace Prayer Shawl" from Knit Along With Debbie Macomber, Back on Blossom Street. I'm really enjoying this one! I'm using the lightweight Grandma's Flower Garden from Socks that Rock.

Wow! your shawl is beautiful. I have been wanting to make this shawl, when I finished the book I was so inspired. I'm ordering my yarn this week. I hope I will be able to understand the pattern. I have only worked on one other shawl, the (Sun Ray Shawl). Thanks for sharing your pictures.

You are doing a great job! I am knitting one out of lace weight yarn. Is yours sock weight yarn?

I emailed Myrna (the designer) she wrote that for the sock weight she ended up knitting 10 18 row repeats.
