The waters around parts of Iowa are beginning to recede, sadness and hardship remain. Many, many people are deeply affected by what has taken place.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
¹⁴ if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

We live in a land filled with sin, immorality, pride, greed and unfortunately, Christians have sat back for far to long and just let it happen. We didn't want to step on toes, we didn't want to offend and now, here we sit. People are being led to believe that their sin is okay, they can do what they want, they don't have to answer to God or anyone else. Come, Lord Jesus, come!

Lord, we need boldness--boldness to come against sin, heresy, and the lies of the devil. We need repentance, to be on our faces before You. Lord, guide us, change us, mold us, makes us fully yours.
